The clutch was on the engine was an ARE drysump pan was installed. I'm starting to think the rear of the pan was way out of shape and when I tightened it, it pushed on the retainer causing it to crack. That still doesn't explain the pilot bushing, or the bolt. Though all the threads were fine when the bolt was installed so I have no idea. Would it be possible to drill out just the threads on the other holes and tap them all to the next size up bolt?
